Its official accommodation pages now describe renovated rooms and villas. The current category and outlook matter more than assuming that every room has a private pool or sea view.

Official listings distinguish lagoon-view rooms, a garden-view one-bedroom suite, garden plunge-pool villas and oceanfront villa options. A three-bedroom duplex villa is also listed. A private pool and beachfront outlook belong to particular categories, not to the whole room inventory.
The supplied Agoda images show a bathroom with a freestanding tub and a broad covered entrance area. They are legacy catalogue photographs and may predate renovation. They should not be used as proof of the precise newly renovated bathroom or finishes being sold today.
Guests explain the outlook decision
Seaside823277’s September 2026 account describes a couple preferring the quieter setting, initially choosing a garden-view villa and then paying for a sea-view upgrade. Helpful staff featured in that experience. The account does not establish an upgrade price or availability for another stay.
Yuliya Lodya’s June 2025 review described a repeat visit, tropical gardens and a villa with an enclosed outdoor area, while noting renovation during that period. The official current pages establish renovated categories; an older guest’s building-work observation is not evidence that work continues on your dates.
Book the actual outlook
Compare garden, lagoon and oceanfront descriptions carefully. Ask for current images of the selected room or villa, the pool arrangement and the boundary of its outdoor area. Check the meal package separately rather than transferring another guest’s inclusions.
This resort is worth considering when Mai Khao’s location fits the trip and time at the accommodation is part of the appeal. A clear category choice prevents the beachfront resort address from becoming an unsupported assumption of a beachfront view from every bedroom.
