Phakawan Hotel is a straightforward Waeng Nang option in Maha Sarakham. Its low-rise layout and simple room style may suit a practical overnight stay, but the exact location and room position deserve more attention than a broad claim of convenience.
A low-rise arrangement
The evening photograph shows accommodation opening towards a broad paved internal area. Another view looks along planted porches, while the bedroom image shows a low platform-style double bed in a bright room. These are useful clues to the property’s small-scale arrangement.
Booking.com lists the address as 349 Moo 12, Waeng Nang, Mueang Maha Sarakham. Use that specific location when planning arrival. A provincial-city name alone cannot tell you whether the hotel is within walking distance of the places you need.
The available guest detail is modest
An individual Agoda excerpt praises a large clean room, accommodating staff and both air conditioning and a fan, while describing the residential location as difficult to find. A separate Expedia guest excerpt reports noise from neighbours using the courtyard during one visit.
Neither excerpt exposes a reliable stay date. They provide some useful questions, but are too limited to establish a current service pattern or a guarantee of either quiet or disturbance. Expedia’s structured listing also says there is no lift, so room access should be checked when relevant.
A practical booking checklist
Confirm the map pin and arrival instructions, then ask about the floor and which room positions face the busiest shared area. If you need cooling while sleeping, establish the actual air-conditioning arrangement in the selected category rather than assuming every room contains the same equipment.
Phakawan is best compared as a simple room base with a low-rise garden-style appearance. The evidence supports that concise description, while leaving current maintenance, sound exposure and specific access to be confirmed.
